Imagine Mary Queen of Shops but smiling, stood in a field, wellies firmly rooted. That’s me and I’m here to help.
Jemma
PARTNERSHIPS AND COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR
I’m a rural business consultant, based in Leicestershire with a network that covers much of the UK. My heart and soul lives and breathes rural life and always has. But I’m a wellies fully planted kind of person. I’m with the grafters, the ones that make things happen. Living with a gamekeeper is testament to that theory but my family have always been linked to farming and fieldsports. My father is a business man in the motor trade so no-one is left guessing where I got my ability to level with anyone I meet. My career started out as a land agent, but to be frank, I hated it. I just couldn’t work with people in that way, nothing against them all but it wasn’t for me, I was far too creative.
So what have I got to add to the mix?
- A really sharp business brain, with agriculture, farming and the environment thrown in.
- An ability to mediate, discuss and find effective solutions for almost anything.
At my core is a creative flair, where design meets practicality to get things sorted out to allow you to get the job at hand done. Imagine the equivalent of Mary Quenn of Shops but for your business. Swoop me in, I’ll help you to sort out your business woes, get you organised, streamlined and while I’m at it, some simple processes to keep it that way.
I like to believe I can find a simple, effective solution to almost anything, even if at first it isn’t what you want to hear.
Incredibly experienced in business growth, partnerships, marketing & communications
Having attracted and worked with global organisations such as Amazon UK to household names such as M&S and Kelloggs. Finding myself at No10 Downing Street (luckily escaped) I am as happy (if not happier) working with family businesses to nail down what the future looks like and how they might get there, or an entirely new start up looking for the confidence to get going.
- I’m an Ultimate organiser and process fanatic business mentor and problem solver (mostly business related problems!)
- Business consultant that can think of nothing but getting the job done to suit everyone.
- Speaker, presenter and compere
- Character that thrives in any circumstance, from Westminster and corporate boardrooms to the farmyard office.
Sweeping in to implement the marketing plans, design collateral and pop out a website or two.
Jo
Studio Director
True to form the person writing Jo’s biog is me, Jemma. Mainly because despite being one of the most dependable parts of my business journey over the past 15 years Jo actively avoids blowing her own trumpet. With over 15 years design experience in many sectors Jo has a greater understanding of what works in different industries: office, retail, hospitality, and from small business right the way through to national corporations.
Whilst being a fantastic designer Jo also has the ability to centre what a business needs to progress rather than just looking good and will often arrive at a cost effective and impactful solution to almost anything.
From infographics, to brochure designs, websites, video and exhibition set ups, Jo enjoys the challenge of researching new web features or creating eye-catching graphics.
As an absolute starter finisher, Jo continues to be an absolutely integral to the development of the business and sees all projects through from start to finish.
If you want to get on her good side, chocolate and biscuits (usually a bourbon) are always a winner. At home she is a keen traveller having only just returned from a trip across Europe using only trains and buses as transport! The only time she might be distracted is during the Tour de France.
I will always maintain that every office needs a Jo, but you’re not having this one…..
